Mr & Mrs Windsor

One of my favourite things about being a wedding photographer is seeing how each of my couples plan out their day, what things they do to make it unique and how they make their wedding day the perfect day for them. After all this is exactly how your wedding should be, unique, and exactly what you want it to be.

This weekend’s wedding took this philosophy to a whole new level.

The now Mr & Mrs Windsor chose Tamworth Castle for their ceremony and added the most amazing elements; the groom and his groomsmen were to be dressed as a King and his knights, and the Bride was dressed as the Queen with her ladies in waiting. Virtually every guest joined in, we had Friar Tuck and even a baby Dragon (my favourite costume of the day – SO cute!).
The reception was held at their favourite local club and revolved around a hog roast (it’s fair to say the groom was ALL the excited for this!) a bouncy castle and even a little game of Play Your Cards Right, oh and a free bar for anyone who embraced the Medieval theme.

This weekend’s wedding was the perfect example of why you should plan your wedding day to suit exactly what you want it to be. All the guests were so relaxed and happy, the King and Queen had the best day, and I had bags of fun documenting it all. Win, Win, Win.

Here are a few photos of Mr and Mrs Windsor’s amazing wedding day.
Congratulations to the new King and Queen of Windsor.
