Mr & Mrs Watson

After a week of undecided weather forecasts, I woke up on Saturday pleased to see that with a tiny bit of fortune, the day ahead would be a dry one. I have been looking forward to Pip & Marks wedding for a long time now, I met them at a wedding fayre, we discovered a mutual love of Yorkshire Tea and that was that really.

Bridal Prep was held at Pippa’s parents’ house and was perfectly relaxed and well planned as was the entire day! The father of the bride had the pleasure of escorting his daughter to the church in his vintage convertible Volkswagen Beetle. The bride and groom were married in front of 130 or so family and friends during a lovely and very emotional service.

The reception was held at the amazing Bilston Brook Wedding barn, a relatively new venue but the perfect venue for today’s wedding. With a live band, a prosecco dispensing Mini, camp fires and wood fired pizza there was a brilliant festival vibe to the whole day.

A special mention should be made to Mark’s two best men, who brilliantly ‘found a copy of Mark’s diary’ and proceeded to systematically embarrass him for what must have felt like a very long 15 minutes.

The evening was started by the first of three live music sets from Just For Tonight, covering an amazing indie mix of music from the likes of Mumford and Sons and Kings of Leon and all sorts in between that along with DJ Danny Stansfield literally kept the dance floor packed all night.

Congratulations Mark and Pippa, it was an absolute pleasure documenting your day!

That’s enough of my words (not something I am very good at) here are some photos of the beautiful wedding day (something I am good at!!)
