Mr & Mrs Ward

I have been itching to get my 2019 wedding season underway, the winter season seems to take forever to pass but knowing my first wedding of the year was at the exceptionally beautiful Shustoke Farm Barn made the wait worth every second. 

Sunday just gone was Sam and Gabrielle’s big day and it was a complete pleasure to cover. The weather was lovely, the bride and groom both looked amazing (as did all the guests). There were three amazing wedding cars; two vintage cars supplied by Tudor Wedding Car Services and an amazing Aston Martin (I was definitely drooling over this car).   

The ceremony went perfectly with two speeches that pulled lots of ahhhh’s and ohhhhs and a few tears. The weather behaved itself mostly (a few extra degrees would have been appreciated and there was the smallest amount of rain) but nowhere near enough to cause a fuss on Sam and Gabrielle’s beautiful day. 

The venue looked as beautiful as always, filled with all the special touches and ideas thought up by the bride and groom – I particularly liked the Cigar bar, which is a first for a wedding I have photographed! 

The evening was filled with live acoustic music, dancing, sparklers and fire pits and some toasted marshmallows (some marshmallows may have been slightly more than toasted!) 

Sam and Gabrielle’s wedding was the perfect start to the 2019 wedding season! Here are a few photos from their beautiful day.
