You can mark Thursday the 24th of December 2020 down as a good day; not only is it Christmas eve but I just so happened to photograph a beautiful wedding today too! It really is the most wonderful time of the year!

Carley and Jordan tied the knot at the lovely Nuneaton Registry Office, a very special place to me as that is where I got married a little over ten years ago! There is a big family connection for Carley and Jordan too, with Carley’s grandparents getting married at the same place years ago. How lovely is that?!

2020 has liked to kick us all when we are down, but we were blessed with some beautiful winter sunshine, and though it was a little on the cold side (understatement of the year) thankfully the weather was gorgeous today!

After the ceremony and photos in Nuneaton we travelled back to Carley & Jordan’s home village and spent an hour or so pottering around the village, stopping at the local church, the duck pond and the fields, before taking some photographs outside their house. It has been A-mazing to be back out working at a wedding today.

For now, I am signing off for the Christmas period to spend some much-needed time with my little family. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
