Mr & Mrs Gibbons

The wedding of Mr and Mrs Gibbons was very much a family affair with their loved ones and those close to them at the heart of their big day.

Michelle and Anthony tied the knot at the Castle Hotel in Tamworth. The bride arrived in a Rover P1, a classic car with particular significance to her soon-to-be husband. Mom was certainly impressed with the ride as jumped on the bonnet for a cheeky photo! Three bridesmaids led her down the aisle, and Michelle was given away by her son, looking dapper in his kilt. The beautiful heartfelt ceremony under the great bay window had all the bridesmaids and many of the guests in tears.

After the ceremony we took some time to get photos in the Castle grounds with friends and family from as far as Canada enjoying the day’s celebrations.

The family fun continued throughout the reception with the children showing the adults just how to have a good time. Not wanting anyone to feel left out, Michelle and Anthony even arranged for a special unicorn cake for one young guest celebrating her birthday in the midst of their wedding. The happy couple steered clear of tradition when it came to their wedding cake however, opting instead for a hilarious choice of bride passed out on the wedding bed!

This thoroughly joyful and love-filled day came to a climax when one of Michelle’s daughters made a speech. She read a letter to Anthony, her now step-dad and this truly pulled on the heart strings of everyone in the room.
