Weddings. Are. Back!

This week I have had the enormous pleasure of photographing the incredible wedding of Emily & Nathan AKA Mr & Mrs Davies. It has been 18 months since I was able to properly photograph smiles during a ceremony, moms and dads beaming with pride as their sons/daughters commit to marrying, hugging, hand shaking, welcoming kisses, laughing and everything else that I love about being a wedding photographer. But that all changed this week, and I couldn’t be happier about it!

Nathan & Emily picked the stunning venue of Curradine Barns to get married and what a venue it was for my first ‘restriction free’ wedding of 2021. The day was packed full of incredible touches from so many different suppliers and vendors, and it was an absolute pleasure to see it all come together on the day, and then get to document it. We had venue dressers, hairdressers, make-up artists, florists, videographers, cake makers, an amazing musician, crazy golf, suits, bridal dresses, a magician and we even got to play with some smoke bombs. This right here is why it is so important to get weddings back to normal!  Oh, and did I mention that I am pretty sure we had the hottest day ever in the existence of UK weather, it was a scorcher! A special mention should be made to Raven & Wolfe videographers who put up with me and my crazy ideas all day! It was a pleasure working with you both and a final special mention to Magician Darren Campbell who took great pleasure in melting everyone’s brains with his magic. His magic nearly worked too well on certain female guests haha! #TheLadiesLoveTheMagic! I am still trying to figure out the last trick you did with the bride and groom *mind blown*
