Grace & Conor

On Tuesday I had the huge pleasure/huge pressure of photographing Grace & Conor’s wedding, who just happen to be two of my best friends in the entirety of the universe. With every wedding I always feel pressure to make sure that my clients get exactly what they have booked me for, but this pressure is a little more intense when your clients are your besties.

The ‘GC’ as my wife and I call them, chose The Tithe Barn at the Hundred House Hotel in Telford to get married. A beautiful 17th century barn with oak beams and covered in fairy lights, couple this with gorgeous autumnal sunshine, pumpkins galore and some lush flowers and the barn looked just perfect for them.

Conor looked amazing in his Kilt which he drove all the way to Glasgow to get from MacGregor and MacDuff. Con’ even had a garter! (I did photograph this) and handmade pants to stop any bits from flapping around unexpectedly (I didn’t photograph that), both items being handmade by his nan.

Grace looked just beautiful, her dress coming from Shropshire Country Brides and the flowers supplied by Colours Florist in Much Wenlock. It was so lovely to watch her dad’s reaction during the ‘first look’, you could tell just how proud he was of her.

The day was incredibly emosh for all, me included, there was tears everywhere and so much happiness. The wedding was a real mix of suppliers and friends that helped put it all together, the cake was supplied by Conor’s cousin – Caitlin Bowers and was so tasty. The invites/stationery/name cards/seating plan was created by VA Designs who is one of Grace’s besties also. Music came from Tom (Grace’s brothers) band and even had a special appearance from Conor’s dad and then the groom himself who gave us a bit of his best Eminem, I am sure there are other people I am unintentionally missing out too. It was all just lovely.

I am aware I am writing too much now, lets be honest you people are only here for the photos so I will stop now and let you skip to the good part…

Congratulations to the GC again, I had a blast and loved every second of it. I hope you love your photos and still want to be my friend ;o)
