Mr & Mrs Preston

Wedding season 2021 is in full swing for me now and it is amazing to be back photographing weddings. This Friday it was the turn of Natasha and Andrew to get married in front of their family and friends. Having had to reschedule from 2020 due to the pandemic, it is fair to say that they have had to wait for some time for their wedding day. It was most definitely worth the wait. Their wedding was set in the very beautiful and quant Middleton Hall on the outskirts of Tamworth. The hall has its own private grounds that includes walled gardens, lakes, unicorn trails and beautiful areas of forest. Couple this with yesterday’s beautiful weather and you have all the ingredients for a perfect wedding <3

My day started at Moor Hall hotel to catch up with the groom his best man, ushers and parents. Mom and dad were there and beaming with happiness, the ushers and best man, well they had sunk an impressive 5 bottles of Malbec the night before and were definitely there and present, just maybe a little worse for wear.

Moving over to Middleton Hall I met with Natasha, her 7 bridesmaids and mom. It was super relaxed, and there were no apparent hangovers being nursed! The ceremony room looked absolutely stunning, Make it Special Events really did an amazing job dressing the venue.

The ceremony was just lovely, Natasha and Andrew choose to write some extra special personalised vows too, I recognised some of Andrews vows from a Friends episode and there was a definite Marvel quote in there also ‘I love you 3000’ ;o)

After drinks and photos in the walled garden the guests enjoyed fish and chips on the west lawn and then many Crepes *Lemon Meringue Crepes – drooling* Tea, coffee and some cake whilst speeches were said rounded off the perfect wedding day. I promised I wouldn’t mention the issue with the joke during Andrews speech with his mom – I am still on the fence on what happened and if it made it funnier! :o)

Congratulations to Natasha and Andrew, Mr & Mrs Preston! <3
